Marlon “Brother Marlon” Martin Celebrates 25 Years in Radio
Pittsburgh, PA, April 18, 2017 - Marlon, “Brother Marlon” Martin will celebrate his 25th year in radio this year through a series of radio events, giveaways, and a documentary. The capstone commemoration of his 25th year in radio will conclude with an autobiographical book release and a gospel concert on Saturday, October 7, 2017, “Called to be a voice: Celebrating 25 years of Service” featuring the ministry of JJ Hairston at Ebenezer Baptist Church, 2001 Wylie Avenue, Pittsburgh, PA 15219.
Listeners can stay tuned to his nationally syndicated radio show, The Brother Marlon Show, to increase their chances of winning various prizes connected to his 25 Years in Radio Celebration. Filming for his documentary began earlier this year with interviews and it will provide a glimpse into Brother Marlon’s path toward becoming a prominent voice in radio. The anticipated release of the documentary will be June 2017 through the Brother Marlon app (available for download through iTunes and Android app stores).
In addition to JJ Hairston, other local and national gospel artists who have blessed Brother Marlon’s life and career will appear to celebrate his silver anniversary in radio. More information about the concert and the autobiographical book release will be shared as details are finalized.

Brother Marlon is the host of Morning Inspiration on WAMO100, in Pittsburgh, PA, and the host of The Brother Marlon Show heard nationally on 30+ stations coast to coast Monday-Saturday on the Sheridan Gospel Network. He began his radio career in 1992 at Washington & Jefferson College at the school's then campus radio station WXJX.

During the 25 years, the voice has been the same but the mission has changed. The Lord got a hold of Brother Marlon's life in 1997, thus beginning his radio ministry. He is serious about the things of God and uses his gifts and abilities for the extension of the kingdom of God. His energetic style, contagious laugh, and sincere heart for God and his people cause many to see the light of Christ in the Earth.
Brother Marlon has served the city of Pittsburgh and beyond through music and inspiration weekly spreading the gospel and the love of Christ on the radio, serving as a Master of Ceremonies or gospel disc jockey at various events, and preaching the Word of God. In 2014, the Lord provided an opportunity for Brother Marlon to be heard nationwide with his own syndicated radio show on the Sheridan Gospel Network. Now he shares, "Inspiration, Laughter, and Praise" 7 days a week to the nations.
He is the son of Ercell and the late Douglas Martin. He is married to Ellise Martin and the father of Marlon, II; Jason; Ephraim; and Caleb Martin. Brother Marlon along with his wife own Marlee Communications where they provide a variety of multimedia services including Graphic/Web Design, Photography, Video Production, Audio Production, and Printing.
