New Additions to Gospel Network Leader
Sheridan Gospel Network promotes Program Director, welcomes new Operations
Manager and celebrates Stellar Awards Winning Affiliate (Pittsburgh, PA) – Sheridan Gospel Network (“SGN”) is pleased to announce that Marlon Martin, host of the network's “The Brother Marlon Show,” has been promoted to the position of program director for SGN. The 25-year industry veteran replaces Tracey Lee who has decided to pursue new opportunities. Brother Marlon's promotion comes with a strong endorsement from Lee who says, "I really believe Brother Marlon has the experience in Gospel programming to build upon what SGN has been doing. He has built relationships with our affiliates and has a wealth of Gospel format knowledge.”
Martin's promotion has also been welcomed by fellow SGN staffers including new morning show host Lexi of “The Lexi Morning Show,” mid-day "Gospel Express" host Morgan Dukes, "Evening Inspirations" host Jackie Campbell and veteran weekend staffer Larry Young.
SGN is also pleased to announce that Ty Miller will be taking on operational duties for the network. Miller is an experienced broadcaster and manager with over three decades of radio experience and currently serves as manager of news, sports, and digital services for Sheridan Broadcasting Networks.

Sheridan Gospel Network Atlanta affiliate WIGO-AM was recently named Major Market Station of the Year by the Stellar Awards. The Stellar Awards honor outstanding African-American Gospel radio stations and artists in several categories. WIGO-AM was competing against radio stations in Chicago, Philadelphia, and Atlanta. The aforementioned Young serves as WIGO's General Manager, and the station's format includes Sheridan Gospel Network programming as well as Sheridan Broadcasting Network's (SBN) news and sports.
