Brother Marlon 25

We are excited to celebrate the accomplishments and service of Brother Marlon. For the past 25 years, Brother Marlon has worked diligently in the radio industry in various capacities. Marlon Martin began his radio journey in 1992 at Washington and Jefferson College. He later became an intern at WAMO in 1994 which launched his radio career. Throughout the 25 years in radio, Marlon’s voice has remained the same, however in 1997 he dedicated his life to Christ, thus birthing his radio ministry. Brother Marlon is currently the host of Morning Inspiration on WAMO100, in Pittsburgh, PA. He was also the Program Director at Sheridan Gospel Network and host of networks nationally syndicated afternoon show, "The Brother Marlon Show" until the company recently shut down.

“Called to Be a Voice” Celebrating 25 Years of Service, is a celebratory event designed to deliver “Inspiration, Laughter, and Praise”. People of all ages will be engaged, educated, and encouraged as we showcase national and local talent, share in laughter, worship and much more. In addition, we will honor those who have been influential and supportive throughout this journey. The featured guests will include national gospel artists J.J. Hairston, Jermaine Dolly and Jokia.

The Bold and the Sanctified

Brother Marlon is filling in for Aki Jamal Durham in the role of Deacon Marvin!

Harrisburg get ready for the Bold and the Sanctified!  A hilarious musical about race in the church.  This story is about a small 'black' church and a small 'white' church who combine congregations for financial reasons. Racial conflict and tension ensue from the very beginning.  From the choir to the pulpit to even the usher board – EVERYTHING is affected by the union and the question that looms the entire play:  "Can they make it work?"
